To The Writer, After having consulted to and developed a tapeless workflow for a recent two camera corporate project, I am as impressed with this camera as you are. I think your review was accurate and fair. However I notice one thing in common with the other reviews I've read to date: describing this camera as an HDV camera. According to Sony Operational Support, it is not an HDV camera. They claim that shooting in a native, full raster 1920x1080, VBR, even when not using the 35 Mbps in HQ mode (which is outside the HDV spec)differentiates this camera from HDV cameras. wsmith
