Oh boy, I totally agree about the 'select and apply' a transition. When you're editing something with fast identical cuts (say the transition is always 1/2 second) it would save so much time to be able to save that as a 'preset' and then apply to the range you have selected. I thought I was the only one who felt this should be a basic function!
