The biggest difference is that you don't have the ability to edit or customize the look other than to control the amount of effect (0%-100%) on your clip. Jan Ozer | proDAD's Mercalli is a versatile and usable image stabilization plugin that produces excellent results on footage with a range of stability issues. In testing, it produced results that were clearly preferable to SteadyMove, and it proved much more usable than After Effects. So even if you have both of these options at your disposal, Mercalli is well worth a look, especially since it only costs $119.

Many effects would apply equally well to business and training videos. All tested effects rendered to very high quality, and the common themes make it easy to create a consistent, polished look.
