LG Electronics has released a 16X version of their Multi-CD/DVD drive, the GSA-4160B. The new drive has the ability to read and write in all three DVD formats, DVD-R, DVD+R and DVD-RAM at higher speeds than its predecessors. Equipped with dual-layer writing technology, the GSA-4160B offers users 8.5GB capacity with DVD+R DL media.

The drive offers storage to backup MP3s, videos, digital pictures, or any large files to multiple media types. With an estimated street price of $99, the 16X GSA-4160B comes with a one-year "Peace of Mind" warranty and cross-ship two-day advance replacement service is also available.
