Sonic Solutions has launched MyDVD Studio Deluxe 6, an upgrade to the company's consumer DVD and CD creation software. MyDVD Studio Deluxe 6 includes many new features and enhancements including freeform button placement, encoding for up to four hours of video on a single-layer DVD, anamorphic widescreen support, up to 1,000 photos per slideshow, enhanced audio control, and a new interface that integrates all DVD and CD creation tasks.

MyDVD Studio Deluxe 6 is an integrated solution designed to enable users to create DVDs with personal photos and videos, burn music CDs, legally copy personal DVDs and CDs, play DVD and Video CDs on PCs and laptops, and create custom disc labels. It also provides video editing, Dolby Digital audio encoding, unlimited MP3 ripping, and automated backup and archiving capabilities.
