Digital Heaven, one of the leading creators of software for Apple's Pro Apps, today announced the release of MovieLogger v1.5, the QuickTime logging software for Mac. The new version is a Universal Binary for optimum performance on both Intel and PowerPC Macs and adds support for HDV and DVCPROHD movies.
The MovieLogger interface is designed to be so simple to use that anyone can be logging their movies within minutes. Logs can be created with in and out points and a text description added. These logs can be exported to an XML file (for import to Final Cut Pro) and rich text files for printing or further editing.
Also updated today is BigTime v1.5 , the resizable floating timecode display for Final Cut Pro 5. BigTime is designed for editors working with clients so they can view the current source clip or sequence timecode from across the room. The new version is a Universal Binary and features improved memory of Final Cut Pro's control surface assignment.
MovieLogger v1.5 for Mac OS X is available for immediate purchase from the Digital Heaven online store for US$295.
