Planar Systems, Inc. has unveiled the latest in its PX line of high-end LCD monitors. The new 17", 19", 21", and 23" flat-panel LCD monitors are designed to help businesspeople improve their productivity. Corporate users working in video editing, computer-assisted design, manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and finance can take advantage of large screen sizes and multiple input options to work more efficiently with the PX212M and the widescreen HDTV-compatible PX2320MW. In addition, the PX1910M and PX1710M are ideal LCD monitors for businesspeople looking for peak performance when viewing spreadsheets, documents and presentations, as well as fast-motion video.

The PX 19", 21", and 23" monitors feature Planar¹s new RapidVideo accelerator for superb full-motion video performance. With RapidVideo technology, the Planar PX2320MW is up to five times faster than other 23" LCD monitors on the market, Planar claims. In addition, all of the PX monitors have a QuadStand base for resistance-free height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments. Bezel size is minimized by integrating stereo speakers into the stand, resulting in a sleek form factor and efficient utilization of space. A thin bezel also enables office workers to place multiple LCD monitors side by side in either portrait or landscape configuration for uninterrupted viewing of numerous applications in financial services, engineering, publishing, and other office environments.
