NEC Solutions America will enter the consumer hardware market in the U.S. with the introduction of the ND-3500A, a 16X DVD+-R/RW dual-layer internal DVD recorder. The ND-3500A is a DL-capable 16X DVD+-R/RW drive, which is compatible with all major PC brands and supports all formats of media, the company claims.

The 16X drive will be available for the price of $99.95.
